Aryana: A Blue-Eyed, Black and White Siberian Husky With Her Own Blog!
Hello, my name is Aryana! Some think I might have been named after a pop singer, but I wasn’t, my name isn’t even spelled the same way! Just remember, I’m not grande, I’m just a little husky!
I was born on February 12th, 2015 and was part of a 6 puppy litter! I haven’t seen my brothers and sisters since I was 8 weeks old, but I have a new family now! I live in the Pacific Northwest with my human family that includes three kids, and this is my new pack!
I’ve been considered to be a very hyper puppy, but that’s just the husky way! When I’m tired, I do like to be left alone so I can sleep. It’s very important for puppies to get their sleep, and us Siberian Huskies are no different!
I’m getting big! When I was about 5 months old, I weighed in at 34.8 pounds. The average female Siberian Husky weighs between 35-50 pounds. Consider when I was just 8 weeks old I was only around 8 or 9 pounds. While we girls normally don’t like to discuss our weight, I’ll likely keep a document of just how big I get!
About the Siberian Husky
This site chronicles my adventures and won’t go into much detail on the care and training of Siberian Huskies, there are plenty of other resources for that. A good place to start for that is the AKC Siberian Husky page where I’m registered through! They describe us as part of the working group and MISCHEVIOUS, LOYAL, OUTGOING. I’m not so sure about that whole mischievous bit, I consider myself a well-behaved girl – I just don’t like to listen all the time!
